SHEA Gas

Awarded by EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register).

After completing the SHEA Gas (SHEA stands for Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness) qualification, the candidate will receive a SHEA Passport card used by operatives, supervisors and managers to gain operational site access across the gas sector.

Fully CSCS-accredited, with the famous hologram, this is a CSCS Card for all levels of gas engineers and repair & maintenance operatives.

Includes all material from the EUSR SHEA Core qualification, plus three additional, gas-specific modules (scroll down for module titles).

SHEA Gas provides an understanding of the processes and procedures required to work in the highway; this includes both public and private environments and creating a safe working environment through the application of safe systems of work in order to avoid other utility services. Candidates will also know what to do in the case of an emergency.

The course takes candidates through the journey gas makes from beach to meter and the types of risks associated with pressure regulating gas installations.

Last of all, SHEA Gas helps candidates understand the requirements of working safely in domestic and commercial premises, and it examines how to communicate effectively with customers.
